Woot.com

Photobucket

My husband has turned me into an internet shopper. We do a ton of shopping on amazon.com but another one of our favorite places to look each day is woot.com : "One Day, One Deal". This site has a different deal each day ranging vacuums, kitchen stuff, TV's, to about anything you can think of. From the way I understand it they have a particular number of different items in their warehouse and they sell a different one each day until they are gone. Sometimes they only have 5...boom gone in 2 minutes, other times they have 1000 and it takes all day for the deal to be over. You have the choice to buy up to 3 of each item and it is a flat $5 shipping for the first item and an addition $1 for each item after that (therefore the most shipping you pay is $7), it doesn't matter if they are shipping a t-shirt or a 52 inch TV...same shipping rate!

Every once in a while there will be a "woot off", this is when they have many deals in a certain amount of time, sometimes 12 hrs, sometimes 2 days. Once one item is sold out another one becomes available. At the end of the "woot off" there is usually a BOC...Bag O' Crap, these go for $1 each and if you are lucky enough to get 1...let alone 3 you must have some fast hands. BOC are usually gone within seconds because you never know what you are going to get. We have been able to get it once and we received a book bag filled with 12 indoor/outdoor thermometers (used as stuff stockings at christmas), however sometimes people get xbox's, Tv's, etc. It is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get...but for $6 after shipping it is worth the chance.

Pro's: The prices are usually GREAT (I got a $200+ vacuum for $80), flat rate shipping is nice because you know what you will be paying, the site has reviews of the product from other people so you can see what other consumers think of the product, there are "sister sites" on the page like "kids.woot and wine.woot" that are also great to watch, even though some of the products are refurbished; it states that in the description and from my experience they have always been great products.

Con's: You aren't going to want to buy everything you see on the site; you may only like 1 thing ever month or two, the shipping usually takes around 5 days before the product gets on the truck and they aren't great at updating where your product is in the shipping process if you like to track it.

All-in-all, I love this site. I check it daily along with it's "sister sites", we have actually ordered 4 things from woot.com or kids.woot in the last month or two. I have told many friends about it and hope you all check it out, you never know, you may run across a great deal when you least expect it!

Two thumbs up for this site!!

Clairol Color Blend Foam Review

Photobucket

I have been coloring my hair at home for around 8 years now. Usually when I find a product I stick to it, I like to change colors but not types of hair color. After seeing all the commercials and listening to all the hype, I decided to give it a try (only because I had a coupon for it). I read the directions and followed them step by step. I added the 2 mixes together and shook the bottle until it was mixed completely! I added the foam lid and began to squeeze just as it told me. What a mess!! They claim that it is "a no drip formula" but I completely disagree. It was like pure water coming out. I shook it some more (it also claims 3 shakes and go)thinking maybe I didn't shake it enough. This time it was a little more foam like but still very messy. Finally, about half way through the bottle it became the foam that I was expecting. I also noticed that the 2 mixes began to separate. I have shoulder length hair and I am glad that it isn't any longer because I am afraid I would not have had enough foam to cover all the hair. Once time was up and I washed my hair, it seemed more dry and rough than it usually does after I color my hair.

Overall, I give Clairol Color Blend Foam 2 thumbs down! I think the company could improve the consistency of the foam so that it isn't so runny and ensure that the two mixes do not settle out. I will say that I like the color that I got but it was not worth the mess. I will just stick to old faithful.

I don't know about you but I love free samples. After entering your information, you will be asked if you want to wait for the free sample or you can print off a $1.00 coupon on the spot. I personally chose to wait for the sample and I can't wait to get it! I use Purex all the time and I am excited to see how well it work with the Zout. http://freesamplepurex.com/freesample/

Swag Bucks

Photobucket

Last month I was searching for ways to make a little extra money. I am new to being a stay at home mom and during nap time it gets a little boring around here. Call me crazy but I don't spend every free minute cleaning/cooking/sewing, that just isn't me. My house is clean and I make home cooked meals but I have a 3 yr old and a 2 month old...it is never spotless. Anyway, I also babysit 1 other child currently and while that income was nice, a little bonus is always welcome. I ran across swagbucks.com, before signing up I did my research. Is it a scam? No. Do they really pay out? Yes. Are they legit? Yes. Do people recommend it? Yes. At the time they had 350,000+ facebook fans and people have been members since '07, it is hard to be a scam and be that popular. So I took my chances, it was FREE what did I have to lose? Swagbucks.com is a website where you do your normal every day searching, fill out surveys, print coupons, answer silly polls, etc. and you earn swagbucks. You then use the swag bucks in the swag store to redeem for prizes and they have a little of everything. My favorite is the $5 amazon.com gift card. It doesn't take a ton of swag bucks to earn and you can buy anything on amazon.com. In less than a month I have already cashed in on 4 $5 gift cards. I love it! So easy and you can spend as much or as little time you want doing it. It is all up to you. Please feel free to sign up through my link. Once you click on my link you cannot look around then sign up because the link will be broken. Do your research if you want then come back and sign up through my link! http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/noellebelle20

Want guaranteed swag bucks? Daily poll (1SB), NOSO...you can even skip all the offers if you aren't interested (2SB), check to see if you have any trusted surveys (1SB), search for anything throughout the day and you will usually win 1-4 times (7-50SB). Play the FREE games (be sure to return to games after each game) 2 games=2SB (up to 10SB per day). Watch Swag bucks TV, some are kind of interesting and others are short and easy to get through, 10 videos=3SB (up to 75SB per day). As far as the trusted surveys go, good luck, sometimes you will get to complete one but usually you will not qualify. I seem to go weeks without then bam, I get to complete 3 surveys! I don't do the special offers unless they are free and are videos.

I am still learning new stuff about it daily but so far I LOVE it. I have started to tell family members and friends because you can't go wrong with something that is FREE and rewards you! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a little reward for something that they already do daily!
